King and Chung bringing the pretty to Sin City 2

The Weinstein’s might want to make sure that anyone who purchases a ticket to “Sin City 2” gets a free drool-rag.

Jaime King and Jamie Chung have joined the cast of Robert Rodriguez’s visually (now straight-up) orgasmic sequel to the 2005 hit.

King (“Fanboys”, “Hart of Dixie”) plays the sister of the character she played in the original film, while Chung (“Sucker Punch”) plays the role Devon Aoki had in “Sin City”.

The Hollywood Reporter says of the sequel, co-written by Rodriguez and Frank Miller and borrowing a slab from Miller’s ‘Dame to Kill For’ book :

King played the golden-haired prostitute Goldie in the first movie and returns to play her twin sister, Wendy.

Chung is stepping into the heels worn in the first movie by Devon Aoki, the katana-wielding, roller-skating assassin Miho. The character plays a key role in helping Dwight locate the double-dealing Ava.

Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson are also attached. Clive Owen is also expected to reprise his role of Dwight from the first film (though his involvement may be limited since, in the film, the character undergoes a facial deconstruction and thus would begin looking like a whole new man).

At this stage, nobody has been cast in the role of femme fatale Ava, despite the part being written for Angelina Jolie.

Benicio Del Toro, who played Jackie Boy in “Sin City”, also told us a couple of weeks ago that although he was keen on reprising the role he hadn’t yet had a call from Rodriguez asking him to come aboard.
