Former “Veronica Mars” star Kyle Gallner (‘Beaver’) has joined the cast of Craig Gillespie’s true-disaster picture ”The Finest Hours”, says Deadline.
Chris Pine and Casey Affleck star in the movie about the massive rescue mission that’s launched when two oil tankers collided off the coast of Cape Cod in 1952.
Gallner, who next appears in Courteney Cox’s directorial debut “Just Before I Go”, plays the rescue-boat’s engineman.
Production begins this month in Massachusetts.
