Former “One Tree Hill” star Chad Michael Murray is circling a role in “Left Behind”, the Nicolas Cage-starring remake of the preachy religious thriller fronted by Kirk Cameron.
According to Deadline, Murray would be “playing the role of journalist Cameron “Buck” Williams in the end-of-the-world thriller.”
“Left Behind” was based on something like 16 faith-based novels, and inspired a whole string of feature films (all starring Cameron), so Murray’s probably onto a good thing here – regular pay check, returning role every coupla years.
