Leslie Mann has booked a role in a new comedy from directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (“21 & Over”, “Four Christmases”).
Lucas and Moore wrote the screenplay but at this stage plot details are being kept under wraps other than reports from Deadline that describe the film as an “untitled R-rated female-driven comedy”.
“Lucas and Moore have written a funny and heartfelt script about women and the challenges of motherhood,” says Mann. “I am thrilled to be working with them on this film, and to collaborate for the first time with Block Entertainment and Merced Media.”
Bill Block (Block Entertainment), Raj Brinder Singh (Merced Media) and Apatow Productions’ Judd Apatow and Josh Church are producing. John Friedberg will exec produce.
