Mark Webber and Sarah Snook Team up for Jessabelle

Australian actress Sarah Snook is set to star in Lionsgate’s thriller, “Jessabelle” alongside “Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World” actor Stephen Stills Mark Webber.

In the film, which is set to be directed by “Saw 3D” helmer Kevin Greutert, pic follows a woman who is forced to return to her father’s home in Louisiana when a car accident leaves her without the use of her legs. It’s not long before she discovers a mystery surrounding her own birth, as well as an angry ghost determined to destroy her. Webber meanwhile will play her childhood friend who helps her uncover the truth about her family.

Webber has had one hell of a 2012 so far after garnering rave reviews at January’s  Sundance  film festival for co-starring in the indie comedies “Save the Date” and “For a Good Time, Call…,” he wrote, produced, directed and starred opposite his two-year-old son Isaac Love in “The End of Love.”

Snook previously appeared in Julia Leigh’s “Sleeping Beauty” and won an AACTA Award, the equivalent of an Australian Oscar, for her turn in the telepic “Sisters of War.” She’ll soon be seen alongside “True Blood” star Ryan Kwanten in the romantic comedy “Not Suitable for Children.”

Production on “Jessabelle” is set to begin April 2 which features a script by Robert Ben Garant (“Night at the Museum”).
