Maroon 5’s Adam Levine Circling Season 2 of American Horror Story

How’s this for some TV scoop? EW is reporting that Maroon 5 front singer and one of the current coaches on NBC’s “The Voice” is heading towards his first ever acting debut. Yep. Adam Levine is heading to the world of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story”.

The singer is in final negotiations to appear in season 2 playing a contemporary character half of a couple called “The Lovers.” AHS producers are so fond of Levine that they are shooting around his summer touring schedule.

Plot details for season 2 have not been revealed except for the fact that it’ll be set on the East Coast and in a “horror institution.”

Original cast members Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Lily Rabe will be returning as entirely different characters.
