Memento remake in development

A remake of Christopher Nolan’s 2000 thriller “Memento” is in the works with AMBI Pictures set to produce and finance.

The film, written and directed by Nolan from Jonathan Nolan’s short story, starred Guy Pearce as an amnesiac who is tracking down his wife’s killer.

The film told the story in two parts: a series of black-and-white scenes showed the events in chronological order, while color sequences showed the events in reverse order. The two sequences met at the end.
