Is Michael Keaton set to ditch Batman for Spider-Man?

According to Variety, Keaton is in early talks to play a villain in Marvel and Sony’s upcoming “Spider-Man Homecoming”.

Should the deal come off, Keaton would join Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Marisa Tomei (Aunt May) and Zendaya in the film which centres on Peter Parker’s high school days.

Jon Watts is directing from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are producing.

Keaton played Batman in Tim Burton’s 1989 “Batman” movie.
