Michael Pena will star in action-thriller “The Worker” from director Dan Bradley.
Jeremy Renner and Don Handfield will produce with Content Media’s Tom Butterfield. Pena will exec produce with Philip G. Flores.
The film follows Manny (Pena), an ex-member of Special Forces, Mexico’s elite fighting unit. When the cartel kidnaps his wife and son, Manny has to rely on his skills, raw nerve and resourcefulness to take down a team of drug dealers whose sole aim is to destroy him and everything he holds dear.
Production will kick off later this year.
