Moore, Redmayne, Birdman, OITNB among winners at SAG Awards

Julianne Moore, Eddie Redmayne and the cast of “Birdman” were among the winners at Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Moore took out the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role award for “Still Alice” while Redmayne took the male equivalent for his role in Steven Hawking film “The Theory Of Everything”.

Fresh of its PGA Award win, the cast of “Birdman” won the prize for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

On the TV side of things, Kevin Spacey picked up the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series prize for “House of Cards” while Viola Davis won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series award for ABC’s new show “How To Get Away With Murder”.

Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black” claimed two awards in the TV categories; the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and Uzo Aduba won the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series prize.

Debbie Reynolds took home the Screen Actors Guild 51st Annual Life Achievement Award.
