More of Sony’s Spidey plans leak

Despite suggestions – in those leaked emails – that they hand over the web-slinger to someone else to resuscitate the franchise, seems Sony are going to push forward with their plans to exploit the Marc Webb-directed “Amazing Spider-Man” films.

According to The Daily Beast, the long-planned spin-off film, “Sinister Six”, which teams Spider-Man’s greatest foes, is reportedly still in the works, as is a movie fixing on the character ‘Venom’, and a female “Spider-Man” movie.

There is continuing discussion about Sony lending Spider-Man to Marvel for “Captain America : Civil War” though. There’s also the possibility of bringing celebrated comic arc ‘Kraven’s Last Hunt’ to the big screen.

Question is : Will Andrew Garfield be back as Spidey? With Sony looking to do away with Peter Parker’s ‘teen’ stories, and start telling more adult tales from Spidey’s world, it sounds more and more likely that the character will [again] be recast.
