Mr. Darcy witnesses a murder in McQuarrie’s next

Christopher McQuarrie (“Jack Reacher”) has committed to direct in “Three to Kill”, an Andrew Laurens Productions-financed film, based on the novel by Jean-Patrick Manchette.

Colin Firth will star in the film, says Deadline, the tale of a ”disillusioned businessman witnesses a murder and finds himself being hunted by two relentless sociopaths.”

Howard Rodman is writing the script for the film, set on the coast of France.

Firth next appears in “The Railway Man” and “Devil’s Knot”.
