Nashville renewed for sixth season!

CMT is – despite the absence of actress Connie Britton – bringing “Nashville” back for a sixth season.

The season, which will air early 2018, features Jeffrey Nordling (“Big Little Lies”), Rachel Bilson (“Heart of Dixie”) and Kailtin Doubleday in sizeable roles.

The second half of season five, which kicks off June 1, is set ten weeks after Britton’s character passed.
