Don’t know that he’s hunky Nathan Drake (let alone a star.. yet) nevertheless Sony has decided Tom Holland (“Spider-Man : Homecoming”) is the perfect guy to play the big screen incarnation of the video-game hero in “Uncharted”.
Redrafted as a prequel to the storyline in the game, the movie will be directed by Shawn Levy (“Night at the Museum”) in a starring vehicle for Holland that’s said to have come together after studio head Tom Rothman saw the latest “Spider-Man” film, in which the young actor plays the title role.
The film’s inspiration will be a sequence in the third iteration of the video game that sees young thief Drake encounter professional rogue Sullivan.
