Sony Pictures has released the trailer for “Terminator : Dark Fate” rival their “Charlie’s Angels” reboot, hitting oodles of multiplexes everywhere this November.
Written, directed by and co-starring Elizabeth Banks – as one of the new ‘Bosleys’ in the film; Patrick Stewart plays another – the slick new take on the TV classic brings together Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska as the trio of angelic heroines.
A departure from the poppy, very comedy-centric McG movies, the new “Angels” seems geared towards those who’ve worn out their “Pitch Perfect” soundtrack CDs. Can’t have Taylor Swift taking all their pocket money, ay?
November 15 is when squeals can be heard from the local Loews.
You’ve got to hand it to actress cum filmmaker Banks (“Pitch Perfect 3”), she’s definitely gone for something very ‘different’ here- and considering how much milk has already been squeezed from the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ teat over the years, that’s not an easy feat.
