The “Hail, Caesar!” actor has been chosen to headline Phil Lord & Chris Miller’s young “Han Solo” movie, likely titled “Han Solo : A Star Wars Story”.
Deadline first reported, a few weeks back, that Ehrenreich had emerged as the frontrunner to star as a young Solo in the pre-“New Hope” adventure. The newcomer bet a number of young twenty-something actors to the highly coveted role, including Dave Franco, Taron Egerton and Jack Reynor.
With co-director Miller tweeting that pic of the pistol yesterday, one had a feeling that a casting announcement wasn’t far away.
