Is a new “Matrix” trilogy on the way? One that might possible chronicle the origins of that world-within-the-world?
Latino Review is reporting that the Wachowski’s are covertly penning treatments for a new “Matrix” trilogy, with outlines already sitting atop of a studio exec’s desk.
As the outlet reminds us, the first “Matrix” trilogy ended with The Architect informing Neo (Keanu Reeves) that he wasn’t the first ‘One’, suggesting a prequel could indeed be easily written. Obviously, if the ‘prequel’ route is indeed the route they’re going, there’ll be no need for Keanu Reeves to brush up on his Kung-Fu.
Consider all this a rumour for now… Mr. Anderson.
