Luca Guadagnino will direct Sony’s film adaptation of the novel “A Reliable Wife”. Adapted by Andrew Kevin Walker (“Se7en”), “A Reliable Wife is a romantic thriller set in Wisconsin in 1908, where a rich widower’s ad for a reliable wife is answered not by a matronly plain Jane he expected but rather a gorgeous woman with a secret past who plays to slowly poison him and inherit his estate. He, in turn, has plans for her that are also surprising.” (Deadline)

“Hannibal” regular Laurence Fishburne will have a recurring role on Anthony Anderson’s untitled ABC pilot (Deadline)

2013 film “A Teacher” is set to be adapted into a TV series, with Jay Duplass, Mark Duplass and Michael Costigan executive producing. The series centers on a high school teacher in her late 20′s in the midst of a torrid affair with one of her students.(Deadline)
