“The Newsroom’s” Thomas Sadoski will team up with “New Girl’s” Hannah Simone to bring romantic comedy “Lemonade” to life on the silver screen.
The indie rom-com will see Dave Matalon make his feature directorial debut from a script he wrote himself.
The story follows a struggling New York theatre director (Sadoski) who meets a successful woman and is prompted to re-evaluate his neurotic work life and his notions of what makes life worth living.
Marisa Tomei and Jay Ellis will co-star with Mark Mathias Sayre and Elliott Williams producing. Ellis will also exec produce with Timothy Davis.
