A sequel to Warner Bros.’ breakout romantic comedy “Crazy Rich Asians” is in development.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Jon M.Chu is gearing up for a follow-up, with Peter Chiarelli and Adele Lim (who penned ”Crazy Rich Asians”), tipped to be scripting.
The film will be based on Kevin Kwan’s second film in a trilogy of novels, “China Rich Girlfriend”. Plans are also afoot for the third film in that series, “Rich People Problems”, to get the film treatment too.
