The sequel to 2015’s “Paddington” is closing in, with TWC giving it a release date of January 12th, 2018. The date is a very family friendly timeframe, so hopefully “Paddington 2” has a similar success as its predecessor.
“Paddington 2” will be directed by Paul King, and sees our lovable and polite Paddington Bear get involved in a caper following a birthday present for his Aunt being stolen.
The flick was produced by Paul Hayman, and has an excellent cast including Hugh Grant, Brendan Gleeson, Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, Madeleine Harris, and Samuel Joslin and Ben Whishaw (as the voice of Paddington). (Via Deadline).
Paddington dates back to the 50s where he was a popular character in children’s books, so surely the film will be enjoyable for young and old alike.
