Just days after Michelle MacLaren exited Warner Bros. “Wonder Woman” project, Patty Jenkins has landed the job.
Jenkins will direct star Gal Gadot in the titular role.
Previously attached to helm “Thor 2” for Marvel (before parting ways with the project due to “creative differences”), Jenkins will now be the first female director of a DC project for Warners.
“Wonder Woman” has been slated for release in 2017.
