Here come the “Hogan’s back as Dundee” headlines…
Paul Hogan, most recently back in ‘Mick mode’ for that brilliant faux movie turned tourism ad (‘Dundee’), will play himself in the new comedy “The Excellent Mr. Dundee”. The film marks yet another collaboration between Hogan and Aussie filmmaker Dean Murphy, director of “Charlie & Boots”, “Strange Bedfellows” and “That’s Not My Dog”.
Written by Murphy and Robert Mond, the film features the “Crocodile Dundee” star as himself, who for the film’s sake, is about to be knighted for his services to comedy. Despite his best efforts, the next six weeks sees his name and reputation destroyed.
The film – which actress Bec Asha (see below) also seems to be involved in – lenses in Vancouver and Australia next month.
So proud and excited to finally announce what we’ve been working on in secret… can’t wait to share more! ??? #dundee #paulhogan https://t.co/EJRanOIHZS
