Elizabeth Banks has taken to Twitter to announce that music video director and choreographer Trish Sie is on board to helm the third “Pitch Perfect” movie.
Banks, who directed “Pitch Perfect 2”, was attached to helm the third film but exited the role in June due to other committments. Banks will still produce and, presumably, star in the movie.
Due for release on December 22, “Pitch Perfect 3” will star Anna Kendrick, Britanny Snow and Rebel Wilson. Kay Cannon will return to write the script.
