Rachael Taylor leased to spacious new series 666 Park

Gifted Aussie actress Rachael Taylor (who I also know reads the site;Hi Rach!), most recently seen as the object of the title character’s affection in “Any Questions for Ben?” and prior to that causing Optimus Prime’s obvious nut-crunch and oil dousing in “Transformers”, has landed the female lead in spooky new ABC offering “666 Park”.

The TV gig comes hot on the heels of Taylor losing her halo over on the recently-canned “Charlie’s Angels” reboot. Lots more potential here though; not only does the show share a tone with recent FX ratings winner “American Horror Story”, but it’s got king Castaway himself, Terry O’Quinn co-starring.

The Hollywood Reporter says :

666 Park revolves around a young couple who accept an offer to manage one of the most historic apartment buildings in New York City as they unwittingly begin to experience supernatural occurrences, which complicate and endanger the lives of everyone in the building.

Taylor will play Jane opposite Dave Annable’s Henry, the young couple at the center of the project that’s based on the book series by Gabriella Pierce. Lost’s Terry O’Quinn will portray the owner of the building.

I’ve read the pilot script for the series, and it’s quite good! There’s a nice juicy role there for Taylor to gnaw into. Hopefully she’s the key – or maybe she has the key? – to unlocking this one’s success.
