Rather than do a sequel to 2013’s “Evil Dead” remake, the group behind that film – director/writer Fede Alvarez, co-writer Rodo Sayagues, and producers Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert – are reuniting for an original piece called “A Man in the Dark”.
Screen Daily says the Ghost House Pictures production “follows three teenage robbers who target the home of a wealthy blind man who turns out to be a psychopath.”
The company will launch pre-sales on the film next week at AFM.
