Remaking Craven's "The Hills Have Eyes"

Ain’t It Cool received a scoop indicating that a remake of Wes Craven’s "The Hills Have Eyes" could be in the works. Writer/director Michael J. Basset was asked by Craven if he’d be interested in doing a retooling of the classic.He jokingly said, "At first, the idea of working closely with an actor with both a spooky head and weirdo eyes didn’t appeal, but come to think of it, it would be cool".
