Richard E.Grant is joining the cast of “Game of Thrones”, says WatchersOnTheWall.

The acclaimed star of such films as “Withnail & I” and “Gosford Park” is listed as appearing on the HBO series on his profile page at the actor’s agency that reps him. No character or episode details are revealed.

So who might Grant, who recently appeared on another HBO series “Girls”, be playing?

The aforesaid speculates that it might be “Randyll Tarly, Aeron Greyjoy, the actors of the theatre troupe (from our casting breakdown list today), Lord Karstark or Smalljon Umber” since we’ve yet to hear casting announcements regarding those characters.
