Johnny Galecki has been cast in Paramount’s “Rings”, Deadline reports.
“The Big Bang Theory” star isn’t strayig too far from what he knows, set to play a professor in the horror threequel (though according to Deadline “Galecki’s character is a complete departure from his sensitive nerd guy Leonard on CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”).
His character’s name is Gabriel and is described as a handsome, pleasure-seeking professor who mentors and helps boyfriend and girlfriend duo, Holt (Alex Roe) and Julia (Matilda Lutz).
“Rings” follows 2002’s “The Ring” and 2005’s “The Ring 2″.
The film will open on Friday 13th of November, 2015.
