Robert Pattinson

I think it’s safe to say Robert Pattinson has now proved himself to be more than hairgel and sparkles (just as Luke Perry did in… oh, forget about it). Pattinson was terrific in “Remember Me” (named one of Moviehole’s top 10 films of 2010) and his latest flick, “Water for Elephants” – which isn’t, contrary to recent rumours, a spin-off of “Doctor Dolittle” fixing on Eddie Murphy’s zoo-keeper brother – looks like it also offers Pattinson another chance to prove he’s more than Edward Cullen.

In this frank video chat, Pattinson – who looks like he’s got a pretty decent sense of humour – talks about the movie (which stars the adorable Reese Witherspoon and “Inglourious Basterds” alum Christoph Waltz), his character in it, and why it’s more “The Greatest Show on Earth” than “Shakes the Clown”.
