Dwayne Johnson took to the blue bird this morning to announce that “San Andreas” is headed for a Brisbane, Australia shoot.
The “Hercules” actor says the ‘disaster’ movie (that’s not me being a bitch, that’s me spilling the theme of the movie) will begin it’s presumably expensive and expansive shoot in April.
Set in the aftermath of a devastating California earthquake, the Brad ‘Journey 2 : The Mysterious Island’ Peyton directed movie follows a helicopter pilot (Johnson) and his quest to save his estranged daughter. It’ll release June 5, 2015 – going up against that other big-budget race-against-the-clock family thriller “Jurassic World”.
Hawaii is my fav. Cool to announce my next film, SAN ANDREAS will be filmed in Brisbane, Australia. #April #AussieLove #RockTalk @GBP4EVER
