Ron Perlman has become the lastest actor to join the cast of Warner Bros’ “Harry Potter” spinoff “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”.

“Fantastic Beasts” is based on the Hogwarts textbook of the same name. Set in New York about seven decades before the “Harry Potter” story, the book follows the adventures of its author, Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), a “magiczoologist”, or a person who studies magical creatures.

According to THR, Perlman will play a goblin.

Production is currently underway in England with David Yates directing from J.K. Rowling’s screenplay. Redmayne stars opposite Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler and Samantha Morton.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens on November 18, 2016.
