Rosamund Pike could be in line to star in “Guernsey”, from director Mike Newell (“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”) .
Don Roos adapted the script from Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows’ bestselling novel “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society”.
Producers are Mitchell Kaplan and Paula Mazur for their Mazur/Kaplan Company banner.
Pike follows a number of other high-profile actresses to consider the lead role, including Kate Winslet, Lily James and Rebecca Ferguson. The project is yet to get the green light.
