Samara Weaving will reunite with “Ready or Not” helmers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the duo behind Radio Silence, for the sixth “Scream” film.
Currently in production in Canada, the new film stars Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Jenna Ortega, who starred in 2022’s “Scream”, along with Hayden Panettiere, Courteney Cox, Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda, Josh Segarra and Henry Czerny.
Deadline, who have the news on Weaving’s anointment, says “Spider-Man : No Way Home” star Tony Revolori is also in the flick.
As reported in June, original final girl Neve Campbell has opted not to return for the new film.
In the pic, Sam (Barrera), Mindy (Brown), Chad (Gooding) and Tara (Ortega)— thefour survivors of the most recent batch of Ghostface killings— leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter.
