Seems “Twin Peaks” fans aren’t the only ones upset by the news that series co-creator David Lynch won’t be involved (specifically, he won’t be directing) in the new version Showtime is putting together. The cast of the original ’90s series are in Lynch’s corner, letting the network know that they’re not happy they wouldn’t pay the man what he deserves to direct the 8-episode series. They’ve even kicked off a #SaveTwinPeaks viral campaign, hoping that’ll spur Showtime to do what’s right and meet Lynch’s demands.
Cast member Madchen Amick (‘Shelley’) took to WhoSay – as well as Facebook – to post a video in which she, and fellow cast members, express their disappointment to Showtime. The video has each cast member finishing this sentence : ‘Twin Peaks without David Lynch is…’
