The cast of Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” has added another player today, this time welcoming martial artist Scott Adkins to its ranks.
Scott Derrickson is directing the film which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular neurosurgeon Stephen Strange.
Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton, Michael Stuhlbarg and Amy Landecker co-star.
According to TheWrap, Adkins is likely to have “several major action scenes featuring hand-to-hand combat”.
Disney will release “Doctor Strange” on November 4, 2016.
