Will Smith movie spins-off to Television
Will Smith is doing a TV series spin-off of his hit comedy “Hitch”, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Not surprisingly, the Fresh Prince won’t star in the show (and unfortunately Taye Diggs is busy with “Private Practice” – not that I see that lasting for long), so prodicers are on the hunt for a new love doctor.
Ben Wexler (CBS’ “Still Standing”) has come on board to adapt Columbia Pictures’ 2005 romantic comedy that starred Smith as a professional matchmaker. The actor’s Overbrook Entertainment is producing.
