“New Girl” will welcome Adam Brody to its pool of guest stars, with “The O.C.” actor set to appear in a 2014 episode of the Fox comedy.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brody will take on the role of Berkeley, one of Jess’ (Zooey Deschanel) exes, who is now a hip stay-at-home Dad. Jess and Berkeley have apparently remained close since their break up, despite this being Brody’s first appearance on the show.
Best known for his role as Seth Cohen on “The O.C.”, Brody has also scored TV roles in “The League” and “House of Lies”.
Filming is due to kick off in December, with Brody appearing in the 14th episode of the shows third season.
