  1. Kevin Costner isn’t against doing a sequel to his 1992 hit “The Bodyguard” (and, in fact, toyed with the idea of doing a sequel shortly after the original – with the late Princess Diana!) – but knows he’d have a helluva job on his hands finding someone as wonderful as the late Whitney Houston to play his beloved client. “It would have to be someone really special.”

The upcoming Bryan Fuller produced “Star Trek” TV series will be set at the beginning of the 24th Century, so after the events of “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country” and “Star Trek: Generations” but before the “Star Trek : The Next Generation” TV series. The new series is targeted to air in January.
  3. A cinematic universe featuring the classic ‘Hanna-Barbera’ characters is in the works. The first film in a series of films that will interlink will be called “S.C.O.O.B” and primarily focus on, of course, Scooby Doo!.

  5. Legendary filmmaker Brian De Palma will direct “The Truth and Other Lies”, a black comedy about a seemingly perfect husband whose perfect world and reputation is in jeopardy when his mistress falls pregnant.
  6. The producers of Disney’s critically acclaimed “Jungle Book” want Jennifer Lawrence for the recently-announced sequel.
  7. Will Deadpool meet Spider-Man in an upcoming movie? Seems like a possibility.
