Stallone teases Rocky IV director’s cut, more Rambo

With an extended cut of “Rambo : Last Blood” hitting streaming platforms this month, Sylvester Stallone has assured Rocky fans they won’t be left out.

The veteran actor and filmmaker promises a director’s cut of “Rocky IV” is just around the corner.

In the comments section of Instagram, where Sly posted the “Rambo” announcement, the Oscar winner said that an “amazing” director’s cut of the 1985 film is on the way. There isn’t, however, any plans for a director’s cut of “Rocky Balboa”.

Stallone also tells his readers that “Rambo : Last Blood” mightn’t be the final go-round for the Vietnam Vet, suggesting a sixth instalment in the series might be in the works.

Sly’s big on giving audiences more of what they want, with plans recently revealed for a “Demolition Man” sequel and a fourth “Expendables” still in development.
