Nope, Chewbacca’s not getting down with anytime soon.
Veteran actor Max Von Sydow, one of the cast members of “Star Wars : The Force Awakens”, is joining the cast of HBO’s mega-hit.
According to EW, the actor – whose many credits include “Flash Gordon”, “The Exorcist” and “Malice” – is playing Three-Eyed Raven, the mystical tutor of Bran Stark. Another actor originated the part, appearing briefly in the season four finale, but Von Sydow has it from hereon out.
Von Sydow will make his debut in the sixth season, set to air next April.
Like other new “GOT” addition Ian McShane, Von Sydow will have limited screen time on the show but his role is an important one.
