The iconic Darth Vader is set to return to the “Star Wars” movie universe, according to Making Star Wars.
The alter ego of fallen Jedi Anakin Skywalker will make the first of those new on-screen appearances in “Rogue One : A Star Wars Story”, released later this year. Not surprising that Vader factors into the film – it’s about a group of rebels who steal the plans to the Death Star from it’s owner, Vader.
According to the aforesaid site, Vader’s suit has been “meticulously recreated” for the movie, which features Felicity Jones and Ben Mendelsohn, among others, in pivotal roles.
Even more exciting? James Earl Jones, who has provided the voice of the character since 1977’s “A New Hope”, will return to voice the character.
Vader is expected to be “a prominent player in a few scenes and something to fear for the heroes”.
The suit will also be put to get use again later on with future Darth Vader appearances planned.
