The TV series spin-off of EuropaCorp’s popular “Taken” movie series has it’s lead.

According to EW, “Vikings” fave Clive Standen will play the Bryan Mills (the character Liam Neeson played in the film trilogy) in the NBC series.

The series will be somewhat of an origin yarn, with episodes fixing on how young Mills obtained that particular set of skills he’s always bragging about.

Alex Carey (”Homeland”) will write and direct, as well as executive produce alongside Matthew Gross, Edouardde Vesinne, and Thomas Anargyros.
