In the lead up to the world premiere of “Save Your Legs!” at the Melbourne International Film Festival on Saturday 11 August, Madman Entertainment has announced a release date of January 24, 2013.
Producer Nick Batzias commented “Dating the film and now being able to focus on sharing rather than making it is a really exciting step for the production team. Making the film was a fantastic experience, but ultimately we made it for an audience so we can’t wait for it to be in release.”
Director Boyd Hicklin commented “Ten years in the making and now we’re just moments away from the world premiere and a January cinema release. It’s incredible to see the film out of my head and onto the big screen for the whole world to share. It’s a humbling, exhilarating feeling and I hope people enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
Audiences can also now get their first look at the film, starring Stephen Curry (“Rogue”, “The King”), “Love My Way” alum Brendan Cowell (who also wrote the screenplay), Damon Gameau (“Balibo”) and Bollywood beauty Pallavi Sharda, following today’s release of the teaser trailer.
