With the film nearing a $400m payday, no surprise to hear DreamWorks Animation has given the thumbs up to a “Croods” sequel.
The Caveman flick, featuring the voice of Ryan Reynolds, made up for the hefty loss the studio took on “Rise of the Guardians”.
Kirk De Micco and Chris Sanders, writer/directors of the original, are back for the sequel; the core voice cast, including Reynolds, Emma Stone and Nicolas Cage, are also expected to make a reprise.
