The first five episodes of “The Flash” Season 8, airing later this year, will be somewhat of a ‘crossover’ event, The CW President Mark Pedowitz revealed during a conference call with members of the press today .

Those eps will see Barry Allen team up with fellow heroes from The CWverse.

“The idea for The Flash is, [showrunner] Eric Wallace and [executive producer] Greg [Berlanti] have come together and are talking about other superheroes from the CW-verse who will come together in each individual episode,” he said. “It will not be quite be a crossover but will have a crossover-type feel and the introduction of all these characters.”

There’s a fair chance we’ll see Black Lightning on the show, and a very good chance Superman might fly in for an episode or two. Stay tuned!

Casting : Hill, Chalamet, Midhunter
