The legend of two Sleepy Hollow’s

The CW is in talks to continue its tradition started by “Beauty and The Beast” of both updating classic legends, and competing with a rival network for a show with the exact same premise.
Not to be confused with the other Sleepy Hollow drama pitch being shopped to Fox, CBS, ABC and NBC, reports from Deadline describe the project as a contemporary take on the classic tale The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, in which FBI Agent Ichabod Crane arrives in Sleepy Hollow to investigate a mysterious beheading, from “Missing” writers Patrick Macmanus and Grant Scharbo.

The CW emerged the victor with “Beauty and The Beast”, but it is not clear whether this legend will be affected by the competition from ”Transformers” writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, with “Underworld” helmer Len Wiseman on board to direct.

Either way, I’m guessing the town of Sleepy Hollow will be filled with incredibly young and good looking people.
