The Olsen twins will not return for Fuller House

Bad news “Full House” fans, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will not return for the upcoming reunion series “Fuller House”.

“Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of Fuller House, I know how much Full House has meant to them and they are still very much considered family,” executive producer Robert L. Boyett said in a statement. “It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towardsFuller House.

“Fuller House” will  centre on D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), who is a recently widowed and pregnant veterinarian. Her younger sister and aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and her childhood best friend, Kimmy Gibbler, (Andrea Barber), along with Gibbler’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona, move in to help D.J. raise her two sons — rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old Max — and soon-to-arrive baby.

The show comes from “Full House” creator Jeff Franklin. Mark Cendrowski will direct with the full 13-ep season set to debut on Netflix in 2016.
