Tom Cruise set to reprise another of his iconic characters

Umpteen years after the idea was first floated, Tom Cruise (“Top Gun : Maverick”) is gearing up to slap the fat suit back on to reprise “Tropic Thunder” movie mogul Les Grossman in a new film.

Christopher McQuarrie, who is also working with Cruise on an untitled action film and a song-and-dance-style musical, is hatching the project with the Oscar nominated actor.

No word if the project is a spin-off solely focusing on Grossman or if the character will be infused into one of those other projects they have in the works – like the song-and-dance musical.
