Trailer for 50/50 starring Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

The cancer-comedy (seems there is such a thing) that’s been doing the rounds for a couple of years now – at one time with James McAvoy attached – has finally been laced through an editing machine. The result? “50/50” – no, that’s the title! (looks like the film could be a 80/20)… It actually looks good! Seth Rogen (also producing) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (in the role originally intended for Brit spunk McAvoy) are the leads; Jonathan Levine, of “The Wackness” fame, is the director. I think I’ll go. With my scarf and coffee, of course.

Here’s the official synopsis followed by the trailer :

Adam (Gordon-Levitt) is a 27-year-old writer of radio programs who is diagnosed with a rare form of spinal cancer. With the help of his best friend (Rogen), his mother (Huston), and a young therapist (Kendrick) at the cancer center, Adam learns what and who the most important things in his life are.
